Lymphoma and other malignancies have occurred with \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBaricitinib\u003c\/span\u003e. Thrombosis, including pulmonary embolism, deep venous thrombosis, and arterial thrombosis, has occurred in patients treated with \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBaricitinib\u003c\/span\u003e and other Janus kinase inhibitors used to treat inflammatory conditions. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch5 data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eHow does this medication work?\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOLUMIANT (Baricitinib) modulates cytokine signaling by targeting receptors associated with JAK1 and JAK2 pathways believed to important in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch5 data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eHow should I take this medication?\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cem\u003eOral:\u003c\/em\u003e Take \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e2mg once daily.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNote: OLUMIANT (Baricitinib) should not be used in combination with \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ebiologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) or with strong immunosuppressants such as azathioprine or cyclosporine.
