Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything that needs you to be alert until you know how \u003cstrong\u003eRyaltris\u003c\/strong\u003e affects you. Do not drink alcohol or take any other medicines that may cause you to feel sleepy while using \u003cstrong\u003eRyaltris\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch5\u003eWhat are the possible side effects of using this medication?\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRyaltris\u003c\/strong\u003e may cause serious side effects, including the following:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003enose and throat problems. Symptoms of nose and throat problems may include:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003enosebleeds\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esores (ulcers) in the nose\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ehole in the cartilage between your nose (nasal septal perforation). Symptoms of nasal septal perforation may include:\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ecrusting in the nose\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003enosebleeds\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003erunny nose\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ewhistling sound when you breathe\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eslow wound healing. You should not use Ryaltris until your nose has healed if you have a sore in your nose, if you have had surgery on your nose, or if your nose has been injured.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ethrush (Candida), a certain fungal infection in your nose and throat. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any redness or white-colored patches in your nose or mouth.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eeye problems, including glaucoma or cataracts. You should have regular eye exams when using Ryaltris.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eallergic reactions. Call your healthcare provider or get emergency medical care if you get any of the following signs of a serious allergic reaction:\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ewheezing\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003erash\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ehives\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eswelling of your face, mouth, and tongue\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ebreathing problems\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eimmune system problems that may increase your risk of infections. Taking medicines that weaken your immune system makes you more likely to get infections. These infections may include\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003etuberculosis (TB),\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eocular herpes simplex infections, and\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003einfections caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses, and parasites.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAvoid contact with people who have contagious diseases, such as chickenpox or measles, while using \u003cstrong\u003eRyaltris\u003c\/strong\u003e. If you come in contact with someone who has chicken pox or measles call your healthcare provider right away. Symptoms of infection may include:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003efever\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eaches or pains\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003echills\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003efeeling tired\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eadrenal insufficiency. Adrenal insufficiency happens when your adrenal glands do not make enough steroid hormones.
